We also offer 3D Wakthrough Animation which allow the architectural design to be fully explored before construction begins.

Architectural Visualisation Process
2PM Visuals aim for the process of commissioning architectural visualisation to be simple and straight forward. We are experienced in working with architects, architectural designers, interior designers and developers to visualise their schemes. All of our work is carried out in our London visualisation studio by trained architects and CG artists and each project is handled personally by one the partners of 2PM Visuals, Mathew Byron and Peter Wraight. Our architectural visualisation service is always tailored to the exact requirements of each project, but broadly speaking the following is a guide to the process of commissioning architectural visualisation from us.
Stage 1 | Enquiry
We usually receive enquires for new architectural visualisation work by telephone or email. Often clients send .pdf versions of their architectural drawings and we always aim to provide a fee proposal for our architectural visualisation services within 24 hours of receiving the initial enquiry.
Stage 2 | Confirmation of Fee and Appointment
We produce a clear fixed fee proposal. This will always include for everything that is required to produce the final architectural visualisation images, so you can be confident that there will be no hidden extras. We will usually give our costs on a per image basis so that there can still be flexibility over the exact images required as we know that this can sometimes not be agreed until the 3D model is complete. For 3D walkthrough animation we will usually give our costs on a per 10 second of animation basis. Once our fee is approved we will begin work on the project.
Stage 3 | Construction of the 3D Model
We are skilled in a wide range of 3D CAD architectural visualisation software and can receive drawings in most formats. Usually .dwg .dxf or .pdf versions of the 2D architectural drawings are provided and we then construct an extremely accurate and detailed 3D computer model of the design. Our architecturally qualified CG artists are very skilled at accurately interpreting the drawings, and at this stage any areas of uncertainty will be clarified with the architect or designer to ensure that the 3D computer model is accurate in all respects.
Stage 4 | Confirmation of Camera Angles
Once the 3D computer model is complete we will generate wireframe images of the proposed camera angles so that these can all be approved before proceeding with the final renders. Where photography of the existing site context is required to create verified views and photo montage images we will take this and acheive an accurate camera match between the real world and virtual cameras. This will all be presented for approval in wireframe format before proceeding with the final architectural visualisation work.
Stage 5 | Materials and Lighting
2PM Visuals will construct and apply detailed accurate materials to the 3D computer model based on the exact specification of materials selected by the architect or designer. For photo montage views we set the lighting conditions for the architectural visualisation rendering to match those of the photography. For night time renders we create extremely accurate beuatifully lit renders based on real world lighting settings.
Stage 6 | Final Rendering
Once the camera angles and materials for the architectural visualisation images have been agreed we will proceed with the final architectural rendering of the images. We deploy our renders using an extremely powerful network of rendering machines meaning that we can use the most sophisticated architectural rendering software available, ensuring the best results and certainty that the images will be delivered on time.
Stage 7 | Delivery of Architectural Visualisation
Once complete the final architectural visualisation images will be delivered immediately. Our architectural visualisation images can be delivered digitally by email, over the internet or Blu-ray or DVD, and our 3D Walthrough Animation can be formatted for web based delivery or Blu-ray or DVD distribution.
