When is a Verified View Photo Montage Image Used?
Verified View Photo Montage Images are an increasingly important tool to illustrate an architectural design accurately in its real-world photographic context. How 2PM Visuals create a Verified View Photo Montage
After receiving a brief 2PM Visuals will visit the site and take professional photography which will then be used in combination with our detailed 3D CAD model of the design to produce a wire-frame version of the final verified view photo montage image. This is then verified with the photography and real-world site context. We take great care to plan our photography to be taken at the optimum time of day to illustrate the architectural design, taking in to account the direction of the sunlight hitting the building, the surrounding context and activity. Alteratively photography can be taken at set times of the day to produced verified lighting conditions in the finished architectural visualisation, ensuring an accurate reproduction of the architectural materials and quality of light in the finished images.

Establishing the Verified View
Once the photography has been taken 2PM Visuals will accurately record the camera position, time, lens settings, lighting conditions and other information so that the real-world camera can be matched with the virtual camera in the 3D CAD model back in the studio. 2PM Visuals will create a detailed, accurate 3D CAD model of the architectural design from the architects’ 2D plans and drawings. The 3D CAD model will include context and digital survey information to allow verification of an accurate camera match to be confirmed before proceeding with the rendering of the final 3D architectural visualisation images.

The Finished Verified View Photo Montage Image
As with all of 2PM Visuals images the final visualisations are rendered to very high standards to illustrate the quality of the architectural design, materials and lighting conditions. With our verified views the lighting conditions and camera angle and settings are also matched accurately with the site photography. The architectural render and existing photographs are blended seamlessly to create striking, accurate views than show what the design will look like once complete, sometimes years before construction.
